Bistrot de Venise

Calle dei Fabbri, 4685, 30124 Venezia VE

Opened in 1993, this restaurant is considered by Venetians to be one of the best in Venice. It specialises in traditional local dishes from the lagoon, based on recipes from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries - a culinary journey through time awaits you.

The temple of historic Venetian cuisine

This renowned restaurant with its exquisite decor is not a bistro in the traditional sense, but a great address for authentic Venetian cuisine prepared according to old recipes and with new ideas.

We recommend the boiled eel ("Bisato fumegà in Ara") and, for dessert, the tiramisu from Bistrot de Venise. This is a reinterpretation of the world-famous tiramisu from Treviso in Veneto with chocolate-coated mascarpone cream, homemade sponge fingers, coffee sauce and Marsala ice cream.
