In den malerischen Gassen Burano's thront eine traditionsreiche Trattoria, die seit vier Generationen von der gleichen Familie mit Hingabe bewirtschaftet wird. Ihr Innenraum, kunstvoll gestaltet, erzählt Geschichten vergangener Zeiten und schafft eine einladende Atmosphäre. Besonders geschätzt sind die exquisiten Spezialitäten der Meeresfrüchte und die delikaten Risottos, die Gaumenfreuden von unvergänglicher Eleganz versprechen.
Das Traditionslokal am Marktplatz von Burano ist berühmt für die Bilder und Werke zahlreicher Künstler, die hier zu Gast waren, und natürlich für seine Risottos, von denen das Risotto de Gò mit der kleinen Grundel aus der Lagune eine ganz besondere Spezialität ist. In unseren Breiten eher ein Köderfisch, gibt sie hier ein äußerst schmackhaftes Risotto-Gericht ab, das die Trattoria Romano berühmt gemacht hat. Aus dem Gò-Fisch wird eine fantastische Brühe zubereitet, in der der Reis gekocht wird.
