The splendour of the Hotel Danieli is closely interwoven with the rich history of Venice and extends over three interconnected palaces from the 14th, 19th and 20th centuries.

Der Palazzo wurde Anfang des 14. Jahrhunderts von der Dogenfamilie Dandolo erbaut. Zu dieser Zeit war es wohl das schönste Gebäude Venedigs.

Das Hotel befindet sich im Stadtteil Castello in der Nähe des Markusplatzes. Die Innenarchitektur des Hotels Danieli ist schlichtweg spektakulär. Die berühmte, mehrstöckige Lobby mit ihrer monumentalen Säulentreppe, den kunstvoll geschnitzten Säulen und sanft beleuchteten venezianischen Wandverkleidungen ist einfach unvergleichlich.

Mit ihrer großen Tradition ist das Hotel ein „Perpetuum Mobile“ für Reisende und zieht seit Jahrhunderten bedeutende Persönlichkeiten in seinen Bann: Neil Armstrong, Honoré de Balzac, Winston Churchill, Maria Callas, Richard Wagner, Könige, Staatsmänner, Schauspieler und Künstler – sie alle besuchten dieses exquisite Haus.

Das Restauant Terrazza Danieli befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk des Hotels Danieli und gewährt von seiner Terrasse aus einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die venezianische Lagune. Die saisonale Speisekarte bietet frische, lokale Zutaten. Empfehlen können wir das Risotto mit Wolfsbarsch.
