Antica Dolceria Bonajuto is one of the oldest and best-known chocolate manufacturers in Italy. It was founded in 1880 and is famous for its handmade chocolate, which looks back on a centuries-old tradition.

Modica ist die älteste Schokoladenstadt Europas

Bereits im 16. Jahrhundert gab es durch die spanischen Adelsherren in Modica Kakaobohnen aus Mexiko und damit auch alte Rezepte der Azteken, die man bis heute sorgsam pflegt.

Die Antica Dolceria Bonajuto ist Siziliens älteste Schokoladenmanufaktur. Nicht nur das Holzinterieur und der Anblick der vielen Köstlichkeiten verströmt pures Vertrauen in die Kompetenz dieses Familienunternehmens. Seit 1880 wird in diesem Betrieb die weltberühmte Schokolade aus Modica hergestellt. Nur mit besten Kakaobohnen aus Afrika und Ecuador, kalt gepresst, ohne Zusätze, nicht über 45 Grad erhitzt und mit trübblasser Oberfläche als Qualitätssiegel. Ein unvergleichlicher Genuss!

Empfehlenswert ist die Aztekenschokolade Xocoàtl. Probieren Sie auch die köstlichen Cannoli Siciliani und trinken Sie traditionell einen „Cioccolato Modica“ dazu.
