Perfume began its triumphal march through Europe from Venice in the 10th century, as merchant ships carrying oriental fragrances and spices landed in the lagoon city. Inspired by this, the Venetian company Mavive, which has been involved in the art of perfumery for more than a century, created the fragrance collection "The Merchant of Venice".

The porcelain manufactory was once a purveyor to the court of the Portuguese kings, and every self-respecting household in Portugal owns a service from this traditional brand.
